SoSS #275 - R is for Rainbow

Greetings and salutations snarky pals.

Glad you stopped by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.
This month we are celebrating all things rainbow and PRIDE and we hope that you will join the parade, be a good ally (every month not just in June), be your best authentic self and fly your flag,
whatever that flag may be.

I haven't crafted in a few months, but we are getting settled in our new house and slowly slowly slowly the craft room is coming back together.

For this challenge I went back to Crop & Create from March 2023 and the super cute "My Rainbow" set by Lawn Fawn.

As always, we would love for you to join the rainbow party and play along.

You can find all the challenge details on the SoSS BLOG. While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the sisterhood.

SoSS #258 - N is for NBUS

Greetings, salutations & happy new year snarky friends!

Thanks for checking out the first challenge of 2025 from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Did you get some awesome new crafty supplies over the holidays??
Or like me, do you have so many things in your craft room that you have never used??

This is the challenge for you!
We want to see all of your NBUS (never been used stuff).

I bought this peeking winter bear die by Hero Arts before the holidays with great intentions of making many Christmas cards, but...I did not...it sat in its package glaring at me for weeks...silver lining, I can use it for this challenge and add to my stash of winter birthday cards.

As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.

While you are there please share some crafty love and comments with our reigning Queen of Snark and the rest of the sisterhood!

I'm also linking this card up for the following challenges:

Until next time, best wishes & warmest regards...

Shopping Our Stash #533 - Birds of a Feather

Had a day with a little bit of down time today (whhhaaaaattt?????) so I decided to play along with a few challenges including SHOPPING OUR STASH and their latest challenge - "Birds of a Feather" and  SEIZE THE BIRTHDAY challenge #294 - Feather

Some of you may know that I have a weird unwarranted terrifying fear of birds, so I don't have a lot of bird related craft supplies LOL

Last year my crafty friend Christa gifted me a few stamp sets, including this "Dream" set from Lawn Fawn...I knew I had feathers somewhere!

I based my card on this one I found on pinterest:

Here is my watercolour rainbow of feathers (I need to find the coordinating dies now!)

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White and black cardstock (Recollections)
  • Nocturne Versafine ink (Tsukineko)
  • Dream stamp set (Lawn Fawn)
  • Barn Door, Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, Peacock Feathers and Shaded Lilac distress inks (Tim Holtz)
  • Watercolour brush (Tim Holtz)

Until next time, best wishes, warmest regards...

SoSS #246 - N is for New

Greetings, salutations and happy new year!!

Thanks for coming by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

In 2024 we are celebrating our 10th anniversary - can you believe that??? 10 awesome years of snarkiness! We hope that you will join us in our celebrations.

We are switching things up a little this year and will be hosting 1 challenge each month instead of 2, we hope that will give you more time to play along!

Our first challenge for the year is N is for New, that means we want to see something new (maybe something you got for Christmas??) or something you haven't used before on your project.

I was lucky enough to receive an amazing #RAK (random act of kindness) from Sister Deena just before the holidays...which worked out perfectly for this challenge!

The background stamp and hand / finger die were in that #RAK package and the sentiment is from a package she had sent me previously (crafty friends are the BEST am I right???).

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White & black cardstock (Recollections)
  • Happy Crafting design paper (Echo Park - September 2023 SCT Sampler)
  • Roadies Background Vol 1 Salty stamp (Ink Road Stamps, #RAK from Sister Deena)
  • Scallop Rectangle die (Lawn Fawn)
  • Helping Hand die (HoneyBee Stamps, #RAK from Sister Deena)
  • Foil Ready Basic Cheeky Sentiments (Rebellious, Ink Road Stamps, #RAK from Sister Deena)
  • Paper piercer & mat (SU)
  • Fine tip Sharpie
  • Peach cardstock (Concord & 9th)
  • Bling (Dollarama)
As always we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.

SoSS #239 - L is for Lindsey

Greetings and salutations snarky pals, hope all is well in your corner of the universe.

Thanks for stopping by to check out this very special challenge from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

This one is close to our hearts and we hope that you will join us and play along.

We lost our wonderful and dear sister Lindsey one year ago this week.

We miss her dearly and wanted to find a way to honour the person and crafty sister she was to us, so we bring you L is for Lindsey.

We want your project to somehow reflect or be inspired by Lindsey.
You can check out her blog Bashful Blogging to see some of her amazing crafy work.

Some of the many things I admired about Lindsey were her sense of whimsy, her amazing colouring skills, her love of lawn fawn critters and teeny tiny die cuts as well as who she was as a person; lovely, sweet, funny and genuinely a rainbow on a cloudy day.

Cheers sister!

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • My Rainbow Stamps and Lawn Cuts (Lawn Fawn)
  • Cloud border stencil (Lawn Fawn)
  • Picked Raspberry, Mustard Seed, Seedless Preserve and Peacock Feathers distress inks (Tim Holtz)
  • Ink blending brushes
  • Alcohol art markers (Ohuhu)

  • Stickles
As always, but especially for this challenge, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.

SoSS #217 - B is for Birthday

Greetings, salutations and happy birthday snarky pals!!

Edna (and her cat) look they are ready to celebrate and they would like you to join the party!

We wanna see something to do with birthdays on your project.

I have a lot of September birthday cards to make...so I made a few different versions of the card below.

I really wish if there was a coordinating die set, it would be for ALL the stamps.

I had to fussy cut the takeout box and the chopsticks...really...we all know how strong my dislike for fussy cutting is!!!

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White, black and kraft cardstock (Recollections)
  • Treat Your Self design paper (The Paper Studio)
  • Good Fortune stamp and die set (Lawn Fawn)
  • India Ink Black ink (Hero Arts)
  • Foam tape (Dollar Tree)
As always we would love for you to join the party and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty love with the rest of the sisterhood and our reigning Queen(s) of Snark!
