SoSS #263 - P is for Pride (and rainbows)

Greetings and salutations snarky friends!

Thanks for coming by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers

For the next month we are celebrating all things Pride and rainbows and we would love for you to play along!

I was pleased as punch to recently get my greedy little hands on this long coveted Schitt's Creek themed stamp set from Ink Road Stamps called "Simply the Best."

Not only that, but a few years ago (2020 to be exact) one of my lovely crafty buddies MADE me two Schitt's Creek themed stamps - one of them is the Eww David sentiment stamp.

If you know me, you know I make Schitt's Creek references on the regular and have a lot of Schitt's Creek themed stuff around my craft room / office.

I have serious love for the writing, the cast and the themes of the show. If you haven't watched it...what are you waiting for??

I had some fun mucking about with distress inks, acetate (first card) and blending brushes (second card) to make the rainbow backgrounds.

As always we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with our reigning Queen of Snark and the rest of the sisterhood.

Until next time...best wishes, warmest regards!

SoSS #262 - How Rude

Greetings and salutations snarky friends!

Hope that spring is working its magic in your corner of the world.

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers.

In true sisterhood style, we are celebrating all things rude (whatever that means to you).

We want your project to bring about a Stephanie Tanner type reaction

For me, any excuse to use some profanity on my projects brings me great joy.
As did the Ink Road Stamps mystery bundle that recently arrived in my mailbox.

And then there is this one...which is going off to one of my besties as she starts the final round of her chemo and radiation treatments...love you AM 💜

As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.

SoSS #246 - N is for New

Greetings, salutations and happy new year!!

Thanks for coming by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

In 2024 we are celebrating our 10th anniversary - can you believe that??? 10 awesome years of snarkiness! We hope that you will join us in our celebrations.

We are switching things up a little this year and will be hosting 1 challenge each month instead of 2, we hope that will give you more time to play along!

Our first challenge for the year is N is for New, that means we want to see something new (maybe something you got for Christmas??) or something you haven't used before on your project.

I was lucky enough to receive an amazing #RAK (random act of kindness) from Sister Deena just before the holidays...which worked out perfectly for this challenge!

The background stamp and hand / finger die were in that #RAK package and the sentiment is from a package she had sent me previously (crafty friends are the BEST am I right???).

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White & black cardstock (Recollections)
  • Happy Crafting design paper (Echo Park - September 2023 SCT Sampler)
  • Roadies Background Vol 1 Salty stamp (Ink Road Stamps, #RAK from Sister Deena)
  • Scallop Rectangle die (Lawn Fawn)
  • Helping Hand die (HoneyBee Stamps, #RAK from Sister Deena)
  • Foil Ready Basic Cheeky Sentiments (Rebellious, Ink Road Stamps, #RAK from Sister Deena)
  • Paper piercer & mat (SU)
  • Fine tip Sharpie
  • Peach cardstock (Concord & 9th)
  • Bling (Dollarama)
As always we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.
You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS Blog.

SoSS #238 - U is for Upcycle

Greetings and salutations snarky pals, hope all is well in your corner of the universe!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers as we bring you U IS FOR UPCYCLE.

We want to see what you can reuse, repurpose or upcycle on your project.

I upcycled a library card from my crafty pal MIMIused a piece of amazon bubble packaging and watercolour markers to make the coloured pattern on the library card and a (yep I did) toilet paper roll in black ink to create the pattern on top of the bubble wrap.

If you look super close, you can kind of see the toilet paper roll in the bottom left of the picture and the card is sitting on the bubble wrap.

The snarky sentiment was sent to my in the most awesome gifty package from my crafty pal DEENA
