Heart's Quest Challenge Blog #46

One of the things I love about being on the snarky stameprs design team is checking out all of the amazing creations that others make.

Sometimes I come across a new (to me) challenge blog and I just cant resist playing along.

For the Heart's Quest Challenge Blog #46 I used from part A - image of a girl and from part B heart shaped sticker.

I based my cards on the scrapbook nerd Wild Card Wednesday #48 with paper weaving.

Jingle Belles - Wrap it Up

It's the most wonderful time of the year!! Time to get a head start on 2024 holiday and Christmas cards!!!

The lovely ladies of Jingle Belles are encouraging us to use some wrapping paper or tags on a project.

We  (I) make our own gift labels every year, cuz let's face it, I have a LOT of Christmas paper.

Here's a label that was on one of my gifts this year (actually a recycled tag from last year!!)

And here are the two cards I made using that same paper (and Sharpie) featuring a few dancing characters sent to me by my awesome crafty pal Deena. She is so awesome she even put them together for me. I love the little dancing / swinging legs, but I loathe all the tiny pieces!!!

Entering these cards for JINGLE BELLES - WRAP IT UP

As my lovely crafty pal Jo pointed our, there is a wee bit of gold in each card, the star on the tree and the belt buckle on Santa, I am also entering these into the CHRISTMAS KICKSTART CHALLENGE #82 - THE MIDAS TOUCH

Snippets Playground #471 - Celebration Theme

Happy happy happy new year!

With a variety of birthdays on the horizon this month AND a fold it club llama die that I had yet to try out, need to replenish my stash of birthday cards!

Seriously, how cute it this llama die...I adore these shaped card dies from Stamps of Life!

You probably need more than two llamas to be considered a herd or a flock, but I am off to a good start!

Entering these cards into the "Celebration Theme" challenge at Snippets Playground as I used different colour paper scraps (snippets) for the reins, blanket and wee flowers.

ATCs Around the World #109 - Anything Goes

I love a quiet crafty Sunday morning.

This morning I made a set of 2 ATCs for the Anything Goes challenge at ATCs Around the World.

Part of my challenge for myself is to make at least 1 ATC a month and participate in at least one challenge a week - so here I did both - yay me!

SoSS #246 - N is for New

Greetings, salutations and happy new year!!

Thanks for coming by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

In 2024 we are celebrating our 10th anniversary - can you believe that??? 10 awesome years of snarkiness! We hope that you will join us in our celebrations.

We are switching things up a little this year and will be hosting 1 challenge each month instead of 2, we hope that will give you more time to play along!

Our first challenge for the year is N is for New, that means we want to see something new (maybe something you got for Christmas??) or something you haven't used before on your project.

I was lucky enough to receive an amazing #RAK (random act of kindness) from Sister Deena just before the holidays...which worked out perfectly for this challenge!

The background stamp and hand / finger die were in that #RAK package and the sentiment is from a package she had sent me previously (crafty friends are the BEST am I right???).

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White & black cardstock (Recollections)
  • Happy Crafting design paper (Echo Park - September 2023 SCT Sampler)
  • Roadies Background Vol 1 Salty stamp (Ink Road Stamps, #RAK from Sister Deena)
  • Scallop Rectangle die (Lawn Fawn)
  • Helping Hand die (HoneyBee Stamps, #RAK from Sister Deena)
  • Foil Ready Basic Cheeky Sentiments (Rebellious, Ink Road Stamps, #RAK from Sister Deena)
  • Paper piercer & mat (SU)
  • Fine tip Sharpie
  • Peach cardstock (Concord & 9th)
  • Bling (Dollarama)
As always we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.
You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS Blog.
While you are there please share some crafty love and comments with our reigning Queen of Snark and the rest of the sisterhood!
