More ATC Monday

Here's another ATC I made today for the Steampunk #2 ATC swap on Swap-Bot. I love the mishmash of colours and styles of Steampunk. This one is going to Melissa S in Dexter, Michigan, hope she will like it!

DP is from the Rockstar Mat Stack - a present from my friend Ter
I sponged the clock on the DP in early espresso
The filmstrip is Tim Holtz Ideology Film Strip Ribbon, was in one of my Scraptures card kits
The clips on the left are from SU
The bling in the right corner was a gift from another Swap-Bot partner
The clock and key I picked up at Scrapfest in Kitchener this year
The crown is chipboard from Scrapbook Queens, inked in early espresso

Thanks for lookin!!

Pink Skull ATC

Hooooray for long weekends, one more day to spend some time in my craft shack getting caught up on swaps and other projects. Here's an ATC I made this morning for the Halloween ATC #7 - Skulls / Skeleton swap on Swap-Bot, yaaaaa like I was going to pass THAT up!!

This ATC is going to Mary H. in Tuscon Arizona!

The DP is from the Rock Star Mat Stack which was a gift from my friend Ter
The pink CS is SU
I spritzed the CS with my SU marker spritzer & basic black marker
I got the Skull & Heart buttons from DeSerres in Oakville
The sentiment is from Graphicat Stamps, heat embossed it in black
Used the SU paper piercer and mat to do the corners

Bat ATCs

If you know me, you will know that I

LOVE LOVE LOVE

anything to do with Halloween...witches...bats...skulls...
So when I saw this ATC swap on Swap-Bot, I knew I had to join :)
I used a page from DH's theaurus (I am getting good crafty use from that book!!) and some SU Halloween themed DP that I have had for a while.
Added the moon, heat embossed the "spooky" and added the bat punch outs and voila....bat themed ATC ready for trading.

Thanks for lookin!!!

ATC swaps

Worked on a few ATCs for swap-bot swaps today.

This first one is a Steampunk ATC, its off to Marie S in Texas.
All of the embellishments on the ATC (except the buttons) are from Scraptures kits including the Tim Holtz - Ideology Mini Gears which were in the June 2012 card kit and The Girls Paperie On Holiday die cuts which were in the September 2012 scrapbook kit.

The second one is for a Christmas in July ATC swap, partners for that one haven't been assigned yet, so I have no idea where in the world it will end up :)
I hope the tree won't get too squashed in the mail!!

Thanks for lookin!!

Carry On Cupcake

Yep, I am totally lovin' this Carry On set from the new SU catalogue :)
Here's another card I made this morning, I like it so much I am going to make an ATC project from it for our Stampin' Scrappin' Roadtrippers get together next weekend :)

Thanks for lookin!!

UPDATE:
And here's the matching ATC :)

Carry On

As soon as I saw this new SU hostess stamp set, I knew I HAD to have it!
If you follow me on pinterest, you know that I have a whole board dedicated to Carry On posters and pictures. I am not sure what it is about it, I just love it!
Then I saw there is a 'favourite phrase' ATC swap on Swap-Bot, perfect chance to break in this new stamp set!! YAY!!
So here's the ATC I made:

Next weekend Wendy is hosting a get together for the Stampin' Scrappin' Roadtrippers. Everyone is making a shoebox swap and and I thought it would be fun to make a card based on this ATC, so here's the full size card:

Book Page ATCs

I joined a Book Page ATC swap on Swap-Bot, had so much fun making the ATC, I joined the Book Page ATC #2 swap :)
The requirement for these swaps...you had to use a page from a book somewhere on your ATC.
DH gave me an old thesaurus to use, which was perfect!
The ATC on the left was the first one I made, I cut the book page to 3.5 x 2.5 and mounted it to the ATC base. Then I covered it with crackle accents, but I think because I spread it with a toothbrush that it didn't crackle, but it still looks cool. The typewriter and sentiment are from the "Just my Type" stamp set from SU.
The ATC on the right, I used the book pages to make the flower, punched 8 scallops, inked them up and wrinkled them (the paper is so thin I didn't need to dampen them).

Thanks for lookin'

Here's my Shamrock shaker ATC, thanks for lookin'

Snowman Shaker ATC

If I haven't said so already...I love love love the new shaker frames from Stampin Up.

They are not so practical for mailing (thicker = extra postage) but they are sooooo cute!

I made this snowman shaker ATC for a quick ATC swap on Swap-Bot (this one is headed to Ottawa).

I love that the little microbeads look like snowballs in his tummy! The snowman is from the Button Buddies stamp set - too cute!

Dog ATC

You likely are aware that I live with two big yellow hairy beasties (hence the name of the blog).

Ruby and Gordon keep me warm at night, keep me company when I am sick and are a never ending source of laughter and funny stories...so when I saw there was a dog themed ATC swap on Swap-Bot I signed up (I know you are surprised).

At first I thought, Ohhhhhh I will make a yellow dog ATC, but that might not be the choice of my partner (this ATC is headed to Finland!) so I decided on something a little more generic.

More ATC love :)

Here's another ATC I made this morning

This one is for the Autumn ATC swap on Swap-Bot

Can ya tell I am trying to use up the stash of DP I have????

I was surprised how nice this Halloween DP looked with the new SU colours (wisteria wonder and lucky limeade)

ATC love...

I joined a few more ATC swaps on SC and Swap-Bot

Here's the ATC I made for the Halloween swap on Swap-Bot

The brads are very cool! I love them, my friend Judy brought them back for me from a scrapbook store in Paris!! (as in France!!)

True Blood ATC swap

I am all about making ATC's lately...maybe because they are so small?? Dunno..

Anyway...I have joined a few ATC swaps on SC and signed up for a True Blood themed ATC swap on Swap-Bot. In case you are wondering...ATC is Artist Trading Card, and they measure 3.5" x 2.5"

I have even set up a binder to hold all of my ATC's in clear sheets that I am sure were meant for sports cards...but they work great for ATC's.

For the True Blood themed swap, couldn't decide if I wanted to go vamp or were, so I did one of each...here's what my partner Meagan (in Illinois) will be receiving:

Mmmmm Starbucks

I joined a Starbucks themed card swap on Swap-Bot.

Here's the card I made for my partner.

This was really fun to make.

A little tedious punching out all the logos, but overall I am happy with how it came out.
