Christmas Kickstart Challenge #19 - Scandinavian Christmas

Greetings crafty pals!

Back today to share a card I made for the latest CHRISTMAS KICKSTART CHALLENGE.

The theme for challenge #19 is Scandinavian Christmas...well...I had NO idea what that meant.

So I checked out the cards made by Jo, guest elf Michele and came up with this (which I hope fits the theme):

Shite I used to make this card:

  • Kraft cardstock (Recollections)
  • Cherry Cobbler cardstock (SU)
  • Kringle & Co design paper (American Crafts)
  • Kringle & Co die cut shapes (American Crafts)
As mentioned at the top of the post, I would like to enter this card for Scandinavian Christmas at Christmas Kickstart Challenge.

Shopping Our Stash #311 - CAS

Hello crafty pals!

Thanks for coming by today to check out the newest challenge from the SHOPPING OUR STASH crew!!

In honour of National Simplicity Day on July 12, our challenge to you this week is to keep it clean and simple.

I got a little carried away making my CAS cards and might have made a more than a few...hey...at least I got to practice my super not so great masking skills!

On the first card I used the large oval punch to make a mask, the second one I just cut. Both times I used a post it note to make the masks, that way it stays in place but doesn't stick or wreck the paper underneath when you pull it off!

Have I mentioned how much I completely ADORE the bright colours of distress inks...carved pumpkin, picked raspberry, twisted citron, wilted violet and peacock feathers together...come on now...it just doesn't get any better than that!!

Shite I used to make these cards:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry & Carved Pumpkin distress inks (Tim Holtz)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (SU)
  • Sentiment Sampler stamp set (Paper Smooches)
  • Large oval punch (SU)
As always, we would love for you to play along with us.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG

While you are there please share some crafty loves with the rest of the crew!!

Here we are for week 5 of SCRAPTURES Finally Friday projects using the December 2013 card kit which featured "December Documented" by Simple Stories.

Here are the last three of the 15 cards I made with the kit!

I made all of these CAS (Clean and Simple) cards using just the December Documented Fundamentals Sticker Sheet and Simple Stories 3 x 4 Sn@p Cards

All I added to make these cards was white cardstock and some washi tape.

Scraptures Finally Friday - August 1, 2014

For this month's SCRAPTURES Finally Friday projects I am working with the December 2013 card kit which featured "December Documented" by Simple Stories.

I made 15 CAS (Clean and Simple) cards using just the December Documented Fundamentals Sticker Sheet and Simple Stories 3 x 4 Sn@p Cards

Each week in the month of August I'll be showing you three of the super cute cards from this kit.

All I added to make these cards was white cardstock and sometimes some washi tape.

Let's see what CAS projects you can make from one of your old kits!
