Hello crafty pals!
Thanks for coming by today to check out the newest challenge from the SHOPPING OUR STASH crew!!
In honour of National Simplicity Day on July 12, our challenge to you this week is to keep it clean and simple.
I got a little carried away making my CAS cards and might have made a more than a few...hey...at least I got to practice my super not so great masking skills!
On the first card I used the large oval punch to make a mask, the second one I just cut. Both times I used a post it note to make the masks, that way it stays in place but doesn't stick or wreck the paper underneath when you pull it off!
Have I mentioned how much I completely ADORE the bright colours of distress inks...carved pumpkin, picked raspberry, twisted citron, wilted violet and peacock feathers together...come on now...it just doesn't get any better than that!!
Shite I used to make these cards:
- White cardstock (Fireworx)
- Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet, Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry & Carved Pumpkin distress inks (Tim Holtz)
- Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
- Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (SU)
- Sentiment Sampler stamp set (Paper Smooches)
- Large oval punch (SU)
As always, we would love for you to play along with us.
You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG
While you are there please share some crafty loves with the rest of the crew!!

Well, this is so CAS and fabulous, both cards are!! I do love the Distress Inks, the colors are so intense and beautiful.
Love how you masked the oval on the first card, the Gorgeous Grunge is an awesome set to add details to your cards.
Awesome card, teammie.
Hugs.
Maria.
Simply stunning, Jo x
Great!!! I totally am a fan of the colors you listed also. The next time you are at a hardware store, check out some delucate Frog Tape... it's painter's tape, but you can buy it in a "delicate" strength. Fun to mask with.
...pardon my spelling... blogging from my phone...
I agree, love the distress *brights*. Look at you, with two awesome CAS cards!
