SoSS #174 - E is for Elves

Greetings & salutations snarky pals!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the sisterhood of snarky stampers.

Our theme is E for Elves and look at Edna - she has that little elf on a shelf bastard trapped under glass. Let's hope he suffocates under there...uh oh...that's gonna get me right on to the naughty list!

I went with my favourite elf (whose not really an elf at all).

One of my favourite holiday movies, I love when Buddy gets in a fight with Peter Dinklage and come on, anything with Bob Newhart in it is a winner in my book!

The sentiment, well that just sums up pretty much how I feel this time of year.

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Christmas paper pad (Recollections)
  • Buddy the Elf (random Google image printed on photo paper)
  • Felt letter stickers (Making Memories)
  • Fine tip Sharpie
  • Ruler
Don't be a cotton headed ninnymuggins, join the sisterhood and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty love with our reigning Queen of Snark and the rest of the sisterhood.

And remember....The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear!

Shopping Our Stash #434 - Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow

'

Greetings & salutations crafty pals!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH.

Our theme is Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow...that means we want to see some sort of snow on your project, could be snowflakes, snowmen, snowy scene...whatever you like.

Maybe (**maybe**) I bought myself a Cricut Joy last week and have maybe (**maybe**) been experimenting making some snow themed cards for this challenge.

So the cricut might (**might**) be new, but I certainly shopped my stash for the cardstock. I think it's been YEARS since I've had to buy cardstock...really...I have THAT much!

I used my Cricut Joy to both die cut and draw (fancy aren't I) the card designs...seriously, I am having WAY to much fun with that little thing!!

Shite I used to make these cards:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Glitter cardstock (Recollections)
  • Cricut Joy
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along!

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG.

SoSS #173 - P is for Penguin

Greetings & salutations snarky friends!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the sisterhood of snarky stampers!

We are working our way through the alphabet (in no particular order) as we crawl towards the end of the year...this time around P is for Penguin.

I think I only have one penguin stamp...so it was easy for me to decide what to use...LOL

Why do I only have one penguin stamp? I like penguins...and of course the only penguin stamp I have is kinda, well, cranky?

My sisters will be so impressed!! I actually coloured something, well kinda, I used a water brush and distress inks to colour in the penguin and give him a wee patch of ice to stand on (that's what that blue bit is supposed to be).

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Christmas paper pack (Recollections)
  • Holiday Grumplings stamp set (Taylored Expressions)
  • Black Soot, Mustard Seed, Barn Door, Mermaid Lagoon, Spiced Marmalade and Twisted Citron distress inks (Tim Holtz)
  • 1 3/4" circle punch (SU)
  • Tag Collection die (Tim Holtz)
  • Red jute cord (Dollarama)
  • Fine tip Sharpie
  • Ruler
As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.
