SoSS #167 - O is for Ocean

Greetings and salutations snarky pals!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the sisterhood of snarky stampers!!

SISTER CHRIS is our challenge host and our theme is O is for Ocean.

I am for sure missing my ocean time this summer...hopefully 2021 will bring an ocean visit.

One of my most favourite kidlets in the universe is having a birthday in a few weeks and I thought this would be a super fun card to send him in the mail as he hits the big 1-0!

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • It's Your Birthday design paper and element stickers (Echo Park)
  • Foam tape (Dollar Tree)

As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.
You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.
While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the sisterhood.

Stay safe & be well!

Shopping Our Stash #427 - Pile It On

Greetings & salutations crafty friends!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH.

Last time around we wanted you to keep it simple (sister). For this challenge we want you to Pile It On.

Let's see how much stuff you can get onto one project!

This one is totally outside my comfort zone...but I am kinda happy with what I came up with based on  this instagram post from ECHO PARK using the "Family Night" collection from Carta Bella.

I piled on:

  • Five different design papers
  • Five stickers
  • Three pieces of ephemera
  • Three enamel dots
  • Four enamel stars

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock base (Recollections)
  • Family Night design paper (Carta Bella)
  • Family Night element stickers (Carta Bella)
  • Family Night ephemera (Carta Bella)
  • Enamel dots & stars (from my stash, maker unknown)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along!

SoSS #166 - V is for Vulgarity

Greetings and salutations crafty pals!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the sisterhood of snarky stampers.

SISTER CHRIS is our challenge host and our theme is V is for Vulgarity.

I am not sure if what I made is vulgar?? I went with this definition "lacking sophistication or good taste; unrefined" ...well...if that's not me in a nutshell, I don't know what is!

Perhaps I drew some inspiration from SISTER CHRIS' card for the D is for Dogs challenge...

Just some friendly fun poking towards our esteemed Prime Minister and something funny he said about "speaking moistly" in one of his national COVID addresses.

The image is a still from the show "Our Cartoon President" which honestly I have never seen, but this image came up when I googled Justin Trudeau cartoon - and I thought it worked for what I wanted to do.

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Image of Justin Trudeau (Our Cartoon President / Google)
  • Alphabet stamp set (Dollarama)
  • Black Soot distress ink (Tim Holtz)
  • Maple Leaf stamp (Studio G)
  • Rocket Red ink (Dew Drop)
  • Foam tape (Dollar Tree)
As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.

While you are there, please share some love and comments with the rest of the sisterhood.

Shopping Our Stash #426 - Keep It Simple Sister

Greetings and salutations crafty pals!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH.

Yours truly is the challenge host this week and our theme is Keep It Simple Sister (KISS).

That means we want to see a CAS (clean and simple) card, not too many elements, not too many layers, not too many embellishments.

I have a tough time with this type of card, I tend to want to fill every little piece of space with something LOL

Here's my attempt at a KISS / CAS card:

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Summer Market design paper (Carta Bella)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SOS BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the crew!

Stay safe & be well friends!
