Shopping Our Stash #384 - Tis The Season

Seasons greetings crafty friends!!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH

I am your host one more time and this will be our final challenge for the year, after this one we are taking a break until the new year.

Fittingly, our theme for the final challenge of 2018 is Tis The Season

We want to see a project that represents what YOU celebrate at this time of year...whether it be Hanukkah, Christmas, Kwanzaa or another seasonal celebration.

I wanted my card to be mostly black and white, but I couldn't resist using a bit of glitter glue to give the holly just a tiny pop of colour.

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Snowman Blueprint stamp and die set (Tim Holtz)
  • Glitter glue (Dollarama)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the crew.

Shopping Our Stash #383 - Happy Birthday Dude

Greetings & salutations crafty friends!!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH

This week, once again, I am your host...our theme is Happy Birthday Dude

One can never have too many happy birthday cards in one's stash, but if you are like me, I hardly ever make dude cards, I am always scrambling to find or make a masculine birthday card.

I liked how the background paper has almost a camo look to it, very dude-suitable.

Although this was a quick and easy make, I am happy with how it came out (better than I was expecting!!)

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Woodland Winter design paper (Bo Bunny)
  • Happy Birthday embossing folder (ProvoCraft)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the crew!

SoSS #124 - W is for Winter

Edna is looking like I am feeling these days.

As much as I love the snow, I am not at all a fan of the cold!

Join Edna, the sisterhood and our reigning queen of snark as we celebrate all things winter!

I do love the wee holiday grumplings and their snarky little sentiments...again, this is how I will be feeling until...oh....probably April or May!!

I used my "seweasy" for the first time in about 100 years to make the wonky hand stitched twine frame.

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Santa's Workshop design paper (Doodlebug Designs)
  • SewEasy
  • White twine (SU)
  • Holiday Grumplinds stamp & die set (Taylored Expressions)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Sunset Orange, Hot Aqua and Oceanview Blue markers (Bic)
  • 1 3/4" circle punch (SU)
As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.
