Shopping Our Stash #350 - Yo Dude


Greetings crafty friends!

 Thanks for stopping by today to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH

 This week we are celebrating the dudes...so LET'S HEAR IT FOR THE BOY and show us your dude appropriate projects.

 Here's what I made for the challenge, all I need now is someone with a 5th birthday coming up LOL

 You'll have to excuse the waterspots on the card, I was determined to take the picture outside and we were in the middle of a freezing rain / ice storm over the weekend. All that white you see...not snow...solid ice! Fun times in the middle of April huh??

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Red cardstock (Recollections)
  • Let's Party design paper (Simple Stories)
  • Let's Party clear stickers (Simple Stories)
  • Let's Party bits & pieces (Simple Stories)

What a super Dude junior card!!! It's a busy card just perfect for a busy 5 yo. As far as the ice and snow go I just heard it called "SPRINTER" on the weather channel.

PERFECT for a 5 y.o.... you could always add a ZERO for people our age :)! (We all become kids again!) Terrific bright colors and just love the tons of stuff you managed to add on here! Nothing like a nice solid card! As for the weather, I am amazed at our team's geographical spread and how we have the same freaking weather-- the mountains of California are SILLY. My girls were at softball (one at a game, one at practice) and it was trying to SNOW on us last night! WTF, over ittttt.... supposedly we will get warmer weather starting up tomorrow (supposed to try to snow today...)

Dudes come in all ages, and this is such a cute card for a little man! I just love all those bright colors and elements, and especially the big 5 taking center stage!
