Shopping Our Stash #347 - No Ink

Greetings crafty friends!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH

This week we are going ink free - you can use other colouring mediums on your project, but no ink, that means no ink pads, no markers, no ink sprays etc.

I used paints and stickers to make an ATC...yep I am still in ATC making mode!

Shite I used to make this ATC:

  • Cardboard ATC base
  • Gold, black and white acrylic paints
  • Stylus to make the dots
  • I AM sentiment stickers (Simple Stories)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along!

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG

While you are there, please share some crafty loves and comments with the rest of the crew!!

SoSS #106 - N is for Need Coffee

Ever have one of those days?
Or lots of those days?
Looks like Edna needs a good strong dose of caffeine to get her day rolling.

I am more of a tea fan myself (although once in a while I will have a shot of coffee in my tea...I know I am a weirdo) but luckily in my crafty stash I have LOTS of coffee themed stuff.

Would you believe I have never once used the coffee cup stamp from this Stampin' Up set before now???? I had LOADS of fun paper piecing the coffee cups, so I see more of this set in my future!

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Kraft cardstock (Recollections)
  • Perfect Blend stamp set (SU)
  • Gorgeous Grunge stamp set (SU)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Twisted Citron, Wilted Violet, Picked Raspberry & Peacock Feathers distress inks (Tim Holtz)
  • Everyday Flair design paper (My Mind's Eye)
  • 1 3/8" & 1 3/4" circle punches (SU)
  • Small Tim Horton's cup
As always we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.

SoSS #105 - Z is for Zig Zag

Edna is a fan of chevron, or the more commonly known - zig zag!

This week the sisterhood are zigging and zagging all over the place!

Be sure to check out all the awesome projects over on the SoSS BLOG

I knew the sentiment and image I wanted to use for my card, then went off in search of zig zag design paper, turns out, I have a whole whack of it....who knew??

I tried to create a zig zag faux stitched border, but it went a bit wonky round the corners.

Shite I used to create this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Happy Campers design paper (We R Memory Keepers)
  • Walter stamp (Riley & Co.)
  • Say It Like It Is stamp set (Dylusions)
  • Ground Espresso distress ink (Tim Holtz)
  • Early Espresso marker (SU)
  • Paper piercer & mat (SU)

As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.
