Shopping Our Stash #455 - Musical Notes

Greetings & salutations crafty friends!

Hope all is well and safe in your corner of the world.

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the creative crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH.

Our challenge theme is Musical Notes - which means we want to see your music themed projects.

I recently discovered a new (to me) brand called Capitol Chic Designs and I fell in love with the diversity of their images (hooray for inclusive crafting!!!).

Here's my musical notes inspired ATC using one of their die cut stickers:

Shite I used to make this ATC:
  • Cardboard ATC base
  • Music sheet (ART C book pages)
  • Decorative Dots embossing folder (SU)
  • Pink Grapefruit chalk ink (Versa Magic)
  • Die cut sticker (Capitol Chic Designs)
  • Small Talk Occasions sentiment sticker (Tim Holtz)
  • Fine tip Sharpie
  • Ruler
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along.

You can find the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the crew!

SoSS #194 - U is for Ugly

Greetings and salutations crafty friends!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the sisterhood of snarky stampers.

Our challenge theme is U is for Ugly.

As usual, Sister Lee did an awesomely amazing job with our Edna graphic...but should I be offended that I have that SAME housecoat and those SAME slippers??? LMAO

Anywho, ugly always makes me think of ugly Christmas sweaters and luckily enough I happen to have just bought this awesome cardmaking kit from PhotoPlay which fit the challenge perfectly.

My sister-in-law and I spent some crafty time at the trailer recently and one of the things we made were Christmas cards using this card kit.

Not sure how this ended up so wonky and off centred, but meh...just adds to the ugliness...

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock base (PhotoPlay)
  • Tulla and Norbert's Christmas Party card kit stickers and design paper (PhotoPlay)
As always we would love for you to play along and join the sisterhood.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with our reigning Queen of Snark and the rest of the sisterhood.

I am also adding this to Sister Jo's CHRISTMAS KICKSTART CHALLENGE for the current Funny Ho Ho challenge.

A Tiny Craft (ATC) Challenge #2 - Fall / Autumn

Greetings and salutations crafty friends!!

Thanks so much for coming back to check out the latest challenge from the A TINY CRAFT (ATC) design team!

This month our theme is Fall or Autumn and the challenge is open September 15 to October 14.

Here's what I made using the Mad Plaid Fall collection from PhotoPlay.

I am THAT person who LOVES everything pumpkin / pumpkin spice flavoured this time of year, so I had to pop a latte on one of my ATCs.

Shite I used to make these ATCs:
  • Cardboard ATC bases
  • Mad Plaid Fall design paper and element stickers (PhotoPlay)
  • Crackling Campfire distress ink (Tim Holtz)
  • Mini ink blender (Tim Holtz)
  • White paint pen (Artistro)
  • Ruler (on the first ATC)
  • Brads (super ancient from my stash I have NO idea who made them)
We would love for you to play along and make an ATC (card or coin)
You can find all the details for the challenge on the A TINY CRAFT BLOG

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the design team!

As it fits with their fall theme, I am also playing along with the ATC's mit Hertz challenge.

Shopping Our Stash #454 - Back To The Books

Greetings and salutations crafty friends!!
Hope all is well and safe in your corner of the world!
Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the creative crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH.

Yours truly is the host this time around and we are celebrating all the students headed back to school this month with our challenge theme - Back to the Books.

That means we want to see a book, books or something book related (text design paper, a page from an actual book) on your project.

I **may have** chosen this challenge theme specifically so I could use the We Can Just Stay Home collection from PhotoPlay...maybe...as it ends up, the lovely design paper with all the books on it...I ended up covering it up with other stuff, you can see some of it peeking in the background, but it is there...and of course you can't go wrong with a sloth hugging a heart and a good quote from Dr. Seuss!

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • We Can Just Stay Home design paper, cardstock ephemera and element stickers (PhotoPlay)
  • Small heart punch (SU)
As always, we would love for you to join the crew and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the crew!

SoSS #193 - P is for Paper Piecing

Greetings and salutations snarky pals!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers!

Our challenge theme is P is for Paper Piecing - that means (obviously) we want to see some sort of paper piecing on your project.

My go to for paper piecing are coffee cups (it's super easy to piece the sleeve and lid) add a snarky sentiment and voila...

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Color Study paper pad (Vicki Boutin)
  • Perfect Blend stamp set (SU)
  • Small Talk Snarky sentiment sticker (Tim Holtz)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Mini ink blender (Tim Holtz)
As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.
You can find the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.
