Shopping Our Stash # 445 - Here Fishy Fishy Fishy

Greetings and salutations crafty friends!
Hope all is well and safe in your corner of the world.

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH.

Our theme is....Here Fishy Fishy Fishy....

That means we want to see fish, scales, fishing or something like that on your project.

This challenge is the perfect opportunity to show you my ALL TIME favourite picture of me old pot & Pan (my dad). We grew up camping and fishing (OK more camping for me, I don't have the patience for fishing)...and when I can look at this picture I can still SMELL the fish guts and wormy smell of fishing with my dad...lol...it's one of my best memories of growing up (ya I am weird).

And here's what I made for the challenge:

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Happy Trails design paper (Simple Stories)
  • Happy Trails bits & pieces (Simple Stories)
  • Happy Trails combo cardstock stickers (Simple Stories)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along.
You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the crew.

Perfect card for the avid fisher! I have memories of sitting on "The Creek" with my grandmother. Fishing was just a part of growing up in Florida!

Donna, I love the sweet memories of you and your dad on those camping and fishing trips, the picture of him is priceless!!
Believe it or not, I've never, in my life, have been fishing, and like you, I don't think I would have the patience to sit there and wait for the fish to bite.
My youngest grandson Steven, who is 13 right now, and his dad, love to go fishing, but they just catch and release, up here the lakes have carps but they don't recommend you eat them.
Your card is full of nostalgia and tender memories, love the die-cut and the papers, the sentiment says it all.
Beautifully done, teammie.
Stay healthy and safe.
XO

Love the card and story, I also use to Pike fish with my stepfather and mom, boring. Great to have pictures that have a memory. Great Job.

Such a great picture! I love the card as well, of course, but that picture does take the cake! You see the pure joy on his face :)
