Happy Little Stampers - Bling ATC

Greetings friends!

I don't know about you, but I have made hundreds of holiday cards over the past few months! I am soooooooooo beyond ready to be crafty with anything that is NOT Christmas related.

That and I must be tired of the cold, freezing rain and snow here in Southern Ontario as I am wishin' I was on a beach somewhere or swimming with the mermaids!

I made this ATC for the Happy Little Stampers December ATC Challenge.

Their theme is bling, which I reflected on my mermaid ATC in the sparkly seaweed glitter and the shiny heart brads.

Shite I used to make this ATC:

  • Cardboard ATC base
  • 2 1/2" circle punch
  • Mermaid Dreams 6x6 paper pad (Echo Park)
  • Mermaid Dreams ephemera (Echo Park)
  • Green glittler glue (Dollarama)
  • Gold heart brads (from my stash)
Keep on swimmin' and thinkin' happy and warm thoughts!

SoSS #150 - X is for X Rated Christmas

Seasons greetings and holiday salutations snarky pals.

We are launching our final SoSS challenge of 2019 and as always, it's time for our annual rude holiday challenge.

We always like to wrap up the year with a bit of snark and profanity.

This year, Edna has deemed X is for X Rated Christmas.

Mine reflects a sentiment I would like to express to ohhhhhh soooooo many people this time of year...

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Santa's Workshop design paper (Doodle Bug Designs)
  • P-Touch 1290 label maker
  • Paper piercer & mat (SU)
  • Black thread
As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along. You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.

While you are there, please share some holiday love and comments with our reigning Queen of Snark and the rest of the sisterhood.

Whatever you celebrate (or don't celebrate) this holiday season, from me and mine to you and your all the best for what's left of 2019!

Cheers from Edna and the sisterhood of snarky stampers! We will be back with a new challenge on January 11, 2020.

Mele Kalikimaka

Seasons greetings and holiday salutations crafty friends!

The festive and furious (I think that should be a movie) holiday season is upon us.

For those of us who celebrate Christmas...only 19 more sleeps!

I am trying to drag myself out of my "traditional" Christmas card making brain and try a few new approaches to the holidays.

I found these sparkly pineapples on sale at Michaels a few months ago (like 80% off!!!) so I grabbed a pack thinking, I might use them someday...and they are sooooo sparkly (and I love pineapples!).

Listening to a random array of holiday tunes that Alexa was playing for me, Mele Kalikimaka came and and lightbulb!!!!! I had an idea for those sparkly pineapples.

Here's a link to the song courtesy of YouTube and National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation.

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Sparkly pineapple cutouts (Recollections)
  • Mustard Seed distress ink (Tim Holtz)
  • Pineapple stamp (Studio G)
  • Computer generated sentiment
  • Fishtail Banner die set (Your Next Stamp)
I'd like to enter this card into Shopping Our Stash - Happy Holidays challenge.

Shopping Our Stash #410 - Happy Holidays!

Greetings & salutations crafty friends!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the crew at Shopping Our Stash!

This will be our last challenge for 2019 and we are celebrating the holidays!

That means we want you to show us what you are celebrating this time of year.

For our design team, this time of year is particularly impactful for us as we remember with love two members of our crew, Leslie, who passed on December 25, 2015 and Jessi who passed on December 27, 2018. We love and miss ya ladies...you are always and forever in our hearts!

Here's what I made for the challenge, I used ink spritzed with water on a stamping block to make the background, I thought it made a nice frame for the Menorah.

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Paper Studio)
  • Happy Hanukkah stamp set (Lawn Fawn)
  • Stamping block
  • Broken China distress ink (Tim Holtz)
  • Water spritzer (SU)
  • Versamark ink
  • Black embossing powder (Recollections)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along.
