Shopping Our Stash # 312 - You Light Up My Life

Greetings pals!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the SHOPPING OUR STASH crew.

This week we want you to light up our life. Anything with a light bulb will do - a lamp, flashlight, lantern, or just a plain old light bulb.

In my head I had planned to use the cute little light bulb in the We Totally Click stamp set by Paper Smooches. Clearly I don't look at my stamp sets closely enough - it also has a super cute lamp (which apparently I have never used...until now).

I also knew I wanted to make a fooler card, where the base is just a piece of cardstock and the card is actually the smaller folded piece on top...then the image is stamped on the inside of the card that you see through the punched window in the front.

Shite I used to make this card:

  • Polka dot cardstock (Recollections)
  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Black cardstock (Recollections)
  • We Totally Click stamp set (Paper Smooches)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Squeezed Lemonade distress marker (Tim Holtz)
  • 2" circle punch (Marvy)
  • 2 1/2" circle punch (SU)
  • Washi tape
As always, we would love for you to play along with us.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty loves with the rest of the crew.

Of *course* You have a lamp-stamp! How awesome! What an interesting card structure, too... never heard of it... going to try to remember that!

I'm intrigued with your card fold too, must look that up. Super cute lamp and great way to showcase the lamp. Fabulous job on the challenge.

Donna, as soon as I saw this adorable little lamp, I thought of the lamp that came jumping across the screen on all of those Pixar movies, sooooo adorable!!!!!
Now, the card fold I've never seen but it looks so fabulous, must try that.
Hugs,
Maria.
