Last day of the month and here is my last Finally Friday project using the "Well Played" collection from Carta Bella that was the SCRAPTURES September 2013 card kit.

I've had fun this month building up my collection of dude cards!!

Shopping Our Stash #212 - Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend ~ Use Bling

Happy Tuesday! Time for a new SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge!! As the saying goes "Diamonds are a girls best friend." That's our theme for this week's challenge. The SOS crew would like to see some bling on your project.

Here's what I came up with for the challenge...nothing I love more than making Christmas cards in July when it's 30 degrees outside!!

Everything I used on this card is from my stash. I have a bag o' bling that I throw all my shiny stuff into and the puffy letters I have had so long I have no idea who made them - they are from an old card kit...at least I am using up my stuff right??

SoSS #39 - S is for Shaker

Happy Saturday! Hope the day is warm and sunny wherever in the world you find yourself today!!

Edna and the snarky sisters are breaking out their maracas to shake it off...shake it off...for the new challenge! This week S is for Shaker!!

I am not a fan of shaker cards, wait that's not entirely true. I am actually not a fan of MAKING shaker cards. I love them when other people make them. When I make them they are weird and awkward...I need to watch some online tutorials so I get better at making them.

Nonetheless, here's what I made for the challenge with a big MUCHAS GRACIAS to SISTER CHRIS who sent me the awesome margarita glass die cut and acetate that fit it...how awesome is that??!!??

Shopping Our Stash 210 - Paper Piecing

Greetings and happy Tuesday! This week's SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge is paper piecing. 

The SOS crew want to see some paper piecing (or a LOT of paper piecing) on your project this week.

I love paper piecing, you can do so much with your stamps, what I don't love about paper piecing....all that fussy cutting...although I admit now that I have glasses, I don't seem to mind fussy cutting all that much...and the results are totes adorbs are they not??

Here's what I made for the challenge:

I stamped the wee birds directly onto the coloured design paper and cut them out, then paper pieced their eyes, beaks and feet.
