Scraptures Finally Friday - July 25, 2104

For this week's flashback Finally Friday on SCRAPTURES I pulled out my January 2014 card kit which feaured Little Yellow Bicycle "Winter Twig."

I have to admit I had WAY too much fun making winter themed cards in the heat of July!

See that haze around the edges of some of the pictures??? That's humidity steaming up the lens of my camera quicker than I could take pictures!! It's kinda hot right now here in Southern Ontario!

As one of those people who complained about the cold this past winter, I refuse to complain about the heat...but I will say that I am super grateful we moved into a house with central air conditioning :)

Here are the cards I made with the January 2014 card kit:

Shite I used to make these cards:
  • Woodland winter paper pack (Bo Bunny)
  • Kraft cardstock (Hollo's)
  • Winter Twig cardstock sticker borders (Little Yellow Bicycle)
  • Winter Twig cardstock sticker labels (Little Yellow Bicycle)
  • Winter Twig cardstock stickers "Fresh Verse" (Little Yellow Bicycle)
  • Felt snowflakes
  • Let It Snow tag (We R Memory Keepers)
  • Frayed Burlap distress ink (Tim Holtz)
  • Ink blending tool (Ranger)

Wow did you ever rock the kit! Such fun cards. Love the birdie and the awesome toque with the pompoms!
Hey, with your mention of geography, I now realize we live in the same province, just at opposite ends, lol. I am "way up North" in Thunder Bay, but am originally from NE of TO.
Because I ski and snowboard, I am one of those crazies who jump for joy about fresh snow, every single centimeter, so I dare not say a word about hot weather, lol, Though, we haven't had much typical summer weather to speak of up here. Quite a fair bit of rain though. Apparently I've written a novel, lol!
Have a fab weekend!

I'm for snow, because snow doesn't bite. Well, frostbite, but I've never had an allergic reaction to snow. Also sweat. I don't do sweat. I think I need to find a place where it's always autumn.
These are fabulous - I love all the pom pom accents!
