SoSS #257 - H is for Ho Ho Ho (Naughty Christmas)

Greetings and salutations snarky pals!

Hope that all is well in your corner of this crazy little planet we inhabit together.

The end of another year is almost upon us and for Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers that means it's time for on of our favourite annual challenges - H is for Ho Ho Ho (Naughty Christmas).

We want to see some colossal year end snark on these ones
Don't celebrate Christmas? Cool Cool...show us what you celebrate this time of the year and don't forget to bring the snark!

I had this card in my little brain and I am happy it came out even better than I hoped!

I am soooooooo in love with the sidekick side-order collections from Tim Holtz - I had to use a few (Letter Board and Christmas Minis) on my card.

I hope that Sister Deena is proud of me for doing some die cutting (little pieces and old eyes are not a good combination!)

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White, pink and black cardstock (Recollections)
  • Fa La La design paper (Bella Blvd)
  • Kraft Core cardstock (Tim Holtz)
  • Sanding block (SU)
  • Letter Board and Christmas Minis sidekick side-order thinlits / texture fades  (Tim Holtz)
As always we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.
You can find all of the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.
While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with our reigning Queen of Snark and the rest of the sisterhood.

Until next time, best wishes and warmest regards...

Crafting for Fun!!! With Jingle Belles

Greetings crafty friends!

Look at me! Crafting just for fun!!! When is the last time THAT happened?

I have the lovely ladies at Jingle Belles to thank for the inspiration...and ya I like making Christmas cards ALL year long!

Their current challenge is Stars or Stipes Forever in honour of Independence Day.

I got both - stars AND stripes (yay me!)...I used the super cute Fa La La collection from Bella Blvd and added a few glittery foam stars from my stash.

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock base (Recollections)
  • Fa La La design paper and ephemera (Bella Blvd)
  • Foam stars (Michaels)
  • Foam tape (Dollar Tree)

A Tiny Craft Challenge #5 - Happy Holidays

Holiday greetings & salutations crafty friends!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the A Tiny Craft (ATC) design team.

We are wishing you Happy Holidays and want you to show us what you celebrate this time of year.

My family celebrates Christmas and my house really looks like Christmas threw up in here, it's my second favourite decorating holiday after Halloween.

I made a trio of ATCs using the Fa La La collection from Bella Blvd. The little characters are just so freaking cute!

Shite I used to make these ATCs:
  • Cardboard ATC bases (upcycled cereal and snack boxes)
  • Fa La La design paper, cardstock stickers and Ephemera (Bella Blvd.)
  • Small Talk Occasions sentiment sticker (Tim Holtz)
  • 2.5" circle punch (SU)
  • Rocket Red ink (Tsukneko)
We are going to take a nice long break over the holidays so you have LOTS of time to join the fun and play along. Our next challenge will start on February 15th.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the A Tiny Craft Blog.

While you are there please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the design team.

Whatever you celebrate this time of year, we hope it is happy and safe. See ya in 2022!

Jingle Belles - Merry Sketch-mas

Greetings and salutation crafty pals!

I actually found a wee bit of mojo today and made a card for something other than one of my two design teams!! YAY me!!

One of the advantages of working remotely over the past year (other than not having to get dressed or drive to my office) is that my work space is also my craft room - what better way to spend a lunch hour than getting crafty (or at least picking challenges to work on later).

Stephanie designed this fab sketch for the Jingle Belles Merry Sketch-mas challenge:

And here is what I made based on the sketch:

I did make another card first, but I totally missed the circle part of the sketch...soooooooo....I'll use that for something else...LOL

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Fa La La design paper and ephemera (Bella Blvd)
  • 2.5" circle punch (SU)
Now that I have a card with a circle that more closely matches the sketch, I will enter this into the Jingle Belles Merry Sketch-mas challenge!
