Drunken Stampers Challenge 114 - Finding Nemo

Happy Happy Happy Happy Saturday!! As you read this post I am on my way to Peterborough for my cousin Sarah's Winter Wonderland Wedding!!

Am I am super impressed with myself that I figured out a way to incorporate Great Big Sea lyrics into a card??? Why yes I am, sometimes I completely amuse myself!!

OK...back to the card...here's what I used to make it:

Way Hey Hey ...

One of the challenges on the Scraptures online crop last weekend was to make a music themed page.
As soon as I read it I knew what I wanted to do...a page with some of my Great Big Sea tickets.
Then I remembered I had the autographed poster from the show in Hamilton in 2010...so I added that as well...and here's what I came up with...thanks for lookin'

OMG I totally forgot to tell you...

My friend "L" and I went to see Great Big Sea (yes again) on September 30th in Rochester at the German House...and we were right up against the stage!!!!

That's right, close enough to count Bob's fillings (lol just kidding Bob).

Despite a bit of pushing and shoving (not me of course) it was an amazing show!!

Here's a quick pick of Sean and Alan from the show.

We are going to see them again (yes AGAIN) in Hamilton on November 30th and our seats are in the 3rd row!! YAY!!!

For those that are counting...

OK likely the only ones that are counting are Jen (Niblet), Adrianne, Judy and I...but in case you are wondering...

5 more sleeps til Great Big Sea!!! Woot Woot...

Not sure if you have checked it out yet, but the new CD is awesome!!

My fave songs so far are "safe upon the shore" (can't wait to hear that one live) and "have a cuppa tea"

I hear tell there may even be pictures from this year's excursion as one of us (not mentioning who) is planning on sneaking in a camera (she never lets me forget that I didn't let her sneak one in last year) so stay tuned!!! She may be kind enough to let me post some pics :)

This is our third annual 'girls day out' to see the boys!
Can't wait, loving the new CD, can't wait to hear some new tracks and some old faves...
