Shopping Our Stash #457 - You Don't Bring Me Flowers

Greetings and salutations crafty friends!!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH.

Here in Southern Ontario - fall is in full effect...chilly, windy, rainy, dark earlier...all our beautiful summer flowers are gone for the season...hence our challenge theme You Don't Bring Me Flowers (ok that might be a bit of a stretch??)

Here's what I made (for the record I do NOT suggest stitching with hemp thread, lol, although it took a LONG time, I do like how it looks in the end...)

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Belle Fleur design paper (PhotoPlay)
  • Turquoise Gem chalk ink (VersaMagic)
  • Paper piercer and mat (SU)
  • Hemp string
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along.

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG.

While you are there please share some crafty comments and love with the rest of the crew!

Lovely card, I love that sentiment so true expecially at the lake in the summer after a busy weekend. Thanks for the tip on the hemp string but it does look nice.

The hemp stitching does look great, but as you said at another blog... get yourself some stitched rectangle dies, girl! Beautiful combination of papers and a fun sentiment.

Gorgeous layering of papers and the hemp thread adds the perfect vintage charm to your design!
