SoSS #147 - T is for Tea

Greetings & salutations snarky pals!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the sisterhood of snarky stampers!

You may (or may not) know that I am a total tea granny! It is my go to beverage ALL year round!

I also learned a brand new (to me) tea reference at work quite recently...

Now keep in mind, I am super old...and totally the squarest nerd you will ever meet...but I am lucky enough to work with a lot of young people who know "the tea"...which I have recently learned means gossip or details or a juicy piece of information.

So NOW when I hear them say "spill the tea" I know they are referring to an interesting piece of info, not a tragic beverage incident...(yes they make fun of me, and I am OK with that)

I am also a little obsessed (ok maybe a LOT obsessed) with making CAS chalkboard cards at the moment, so I tried to combine the two...here's what I came up with:

Thanks to my snarky sisters, I now know there is a line of snarky Tim Holtz sentiment stickers (YAY!!)

Shite I used to make these cards:

  • Black cardstock (gift from my crafty pal Christa)
  • Red cardstock (Recollections)
  • Whip Cream ink (Fun Stampers Journey)
  • Fresh Brewed Blueprint stamp set (Tim Holtz)
  • Small Talk Snarky sentiment stickers (Tim Holtz)
  • Pencil eraser
As always, we would love for you to join us for a cuppa and play along!

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SoSS BLOG.

While you are there, please share some crafty love and comments with our reigning Queen of Snark and the rest of the sisterhood!

I had to laugh at your post! Having one in college and another a senior in high school keeps me in the loop, but they still laugh at me!

Your cards are fantastic and I LOVE those sentiment stickers!!

Oh my, I love both versions, I think the black one a tiny bit better. Love the sentiments too. Now I wish I had a latte, but I've run out of milk.
Hugs
