Shopping Our Stash #356 - Graduation / Congrats

Greetings & salutations crafty pals!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH

Tis the season for graduations and congratulations and that is our theme challenge this week...show us what you are celebrating over the summer.

I don't have any graduations coming up, but I do have a family wedding in early August, so I went with congratulations.

I love simple black and white for a wedding card, and I added a pop of glittery red in the heart in the centre.

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Black cardstock (Recollections)
  • People stamp set
  • Word Up stamp set (Paper Smooches)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Paper piercer & mat (SU)
  • Large heart punch (SU)
  • Glitter card stock (SU)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along.

Shopping Our Stash #355 - April Showers Bring May Flowers

Hello crafty friends!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH

We are hoping that spring has arrived where you are and that  April Showers Bring May Flowers

We want to see a flower, or LOTS of flowers on your project.

What I discovered in this challenge is that I have very few flower stamp sets in my stash.

My plan was to make some paper flowers, but time got the better of me.

I rocked some serious old school Stampin Up stash for the challenge!

My card is a pretty close CASE of this card I found on SCS.

Shite I used to make this card:

  • Pacific Point and Cajun Craze cardstock (SU)
  • Kraft cardstock (Recollections)
  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • My Friend stamp set (SU)
  • Beautiful Wings ebosslits (Sizzix / SU)
  • Salty Ocean and Ground Espresso distress inks (Tim Holtz)
  • Pearl stickers (Michaels)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along.

SoSS #110 - I is for Inky

Buckle up friends, things are about to get messy!!

Edna and the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers are comin' at ya with I is for Inky.

Break out yer sprays, ink pads, markers...whatever ya got...just make sure it's super inky!!

My card is a two-fer, I needed a birthday card for this handsome fella:

(me on the left and me old pot & pan on the right)

AND I got to get messy and inky...which for me is always SUPER fun.

I wanted the card to have a roughed up, kind of old, vintage-y look to it...which should be noted is no correlation at ALL to me old pot & pan (he he)

The stitches I drew on were bugging me to no end (too bright) so I scratched at them with a paper piercer and then sanded them to fade them out...ahhhhhh...much better!!

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White card stock (Fireworx)
  • London Sights stamp set (Tim Holtz)
  • Alphabet stamp set (Studio G)
  • Burlap stencil (Tim Holtz)
  • Smoky Slate ink (SU)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Barn Door & Faded Jeans distress markers (Tim Holtz)
  • Mini ink blender tool (Tim Holtz)
  • Paper piercer & mat (SU)
  • Sanding block (SU)
As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.
