SOS 182 - Thrice as Nice

Happy Happy Tuesday!! Here we are - December 30th! Time for the very last SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge for 2014.

This week's challenge is Thrice as Nice. The SOS crew wanna see THREE different design papers on your project this week.

Here's what I came up with for the Thrice is Nice challenge:

With this week's challenge I learned that my black futon cushion makes a great background for taking pictures of cards when it's too cold, rainy or dark to take a picture outside! LOL

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • "Max" papers and accessories (Bella Blvd.)
    • Masters of Disguise design paper
    • Borders design paper (toy soliders and "what a guy!" came from this paper)
    • Trinkets
    • Paper Pieces die cuts
    • Candid Cards
Visit the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG for all the details on the challenge and while you are there, please share some crafty lovin' with the rest of the SOS Crew.

SoSS 24 - Y is for Yuck

Greetings snarky friends! Hope you are recovering from your holiday libations!
Edna's feeling a little hungover from her celebrations and thought the next challenge should reflect what she's feeling....so this time around....

Y is for Yuck!

So let's see what yuck craft supplies you've been hoarding...you know the stuff that's SOOOOOOOO fugly that you haven't yet dared to use it!

Visit the SoSS BLOG for all the details on the challenge and be sure to show the sisters some crafty lovin!!

Here's what I came up with for the challenge, my card equivalent of an ugly Christmas sweater.

I am not a fan of crafty things that look like cross stitch so I am not sure why I bought this particular design paper AND the embellishment packs that go with it....oh right...because it was cheap!!!

I wanted to make my ugly Christmas sweater card even more hideous...so I added faux stitching all the way around the edges.

Yucky shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Kringle and Co. "Pine Tree Nursery" design paper (American Crafts)
  • Ivyfrost fabric stickers (American Crafts)
  • Yellow Bling (Dollarama)
  • Paper piercer and mat (SU)
  • Fine tip Sharpie
Want to get in on the yucky fun?? Upload your Y is for Yuck project to the SoSS BLOG by 11:55 pm (EST) on Friday January 9th.
