Christmas in July card
All the Christmas in July cards have been posted for the Stampin Scrappin Roadtrippers so it's safe to show you my card for this swap now :)
I used the Blossom Bunch stamp set from SU and the coordinating punch for this card.
I coloured the centre stamp with Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Early Espresso markers
The ribbon is from SU, also Early Espresso
CS is all SU - Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and
Early Espresso
I added a bling to the centre of the stamp, not sure if you can see it in the picture
Sentiment is also SU
TWO MORE SLEEPS!!!
Here are a few pictures from last night's wedding rehearsal at the Kortright Centre. What a beautiful venue for a wedding, it's going to be absolutely gorgeous!! I admit I cried a little when I saw Josh walking Alley up the aisle and again as she and Mike exchanged mock vows. My Alley Bo Balley is all growed up and I couldn't be more proud of the woman she has become. Love you to the moon and beyond my monkey brains!!
The boys looking dapper and taking their jobs very seriously (officiant on the left)
Mike (groom) Christopher (best man & brother of the groom), Thomas (brother of the groom), Mike (cousin / friend of the groom), Josh (brother of the bride & my cousin)
Josh walking Alley up the aisle, a practice run, I love the smiles on both of their faces...these two are my everything!
Officiant (left), Alley (bride), Mike (groom), Thomas & Mike (groomsmen / ushers)
Five more sleeps!!
Only five more sleeps until Alley & Mike's wedding and until my week of vacation starts...wow it's going to come up fast now! We have the rehearsal on Wednesday, I pick up my dress on Thursday, then working 1/2 day on Friday and off to the hotel to meet up with the Bride & Bridesmaids for a girls night before the wedding.
Here's the card I made for them today...this is another case of the card I found on Pinterest - here's a link to the original card this one is based on:

More ATC Monday
Here's another ATC I made today for the Steampunk #2 ATC swap on Swap-Bot. I love the mishmash of colours and styles of Steampunk. This one is going to Melissa S in Dexter, Michigan, hope she will like it!
DP is from the Rockstar Mat Stack - a present from my friend Ter
I sponged the clock on the DP in early espresso
The filmstrip is Tim Holtz Ideology Film Strip Ribbon, was in one of my Scraptures card kits
The clips on the left are from SU
The bling in the right corner was a gift from another Swap-Bot partner
The clock and key I picked up at Scrapfest in Kitchener this year
The crown is chipboard from Scrapbook Queens, inked in early espresso
Thanks for lookin!!
Pink Skull ATC
Hooooray for long weekends, one more day to spend some time in my craft shack getting caught up on swaps and other projects. Here's an ATC I made this morning for the Halloween ATC #7 - Skulls / Skeleton swap on Swap-Bot, yaaaaa like I was going to pass THAT up!!
This ATC is going to Mary H. in Tuscon Arizona!
The DP is from the Rock Star Mat Stack which was a gift from my friend Ter
The pink CS is SU
I spritzed the CS with my SU marker spritzer & basic black marker
I got the Skull & Heart buttons from DeSerres in Oakville
The sentiment is from Graphicat Stamps, heat embossed it in black
Used the SU paper piercer and mat to do the corners

Christmas in July Sneak Peek
Last month I hosted a Christmas in July card swap for our Stampin' Scrappin' Roadtrippers group. There were 11 participants, we all made 5 cards and get back 5 different cards back made by some amazingly talented card makers.
I can't show you the cards yet, they are going out in the mail to the ladies tomorrow, but here's a sneak peek of my card...I used the blossom punch stamp set and coordinating punch from SU and coloured the stamp with old olive, cherry cobbler and early espresso (my favourite Christmas colour combo!!)
Six more sleeps!!
Only six sleeps to go until Alley and Mike get married! Alley and I did a hair and makeup trial on Friday with Carolyn McBurney , who also did hair and makeup for my wedding in 2007... http://hairandmakeupdesign.com
Here are a couple of sneak peek pics, sorry none of the bride, you'll just have to wait for the big day to see her :)
Here's the "before" picture, this is pretty much what my makeup looks like every day when I do it myself:
