Shopping Our Stash #441 - The Rainbow Connection

Greetings and salutations crafty friends!

Thanks for stopping by to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH.

We hope you have been practicing your very best Kermit the frog singing voice - our challenge for you this week is The Rainbow Connection. Click HERE if you have no idea what I am talking about.

That means we want to see a rainbow, or rainbow colours on your project, frog not necessary - but certainly encouraged!

I don't even think I own a frog stamp, so I went with the next best thing - naturally - an alpaca!

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • We Can Just Stay Home design paper and ephemera (PhotoPlay)
  • Prickly Pear stamp and die set (CTMH)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Paper piercer and mat (SU)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along!

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG.

While you are there please share some crafty love and comments with the rest of the crew!

Donna, I love your card! Fun rainbow and fabulous use of patterned paper.

I love the lyrics of this song, although it makes me sad because it was used as the theme of one of my SMS patients who died at three-month-old. Whenever I hear the song now, I think of her.

Such a cute card! I love the rainbow palette! Such a cute llama, too, of course!!! And finally, can I just give props for the stitching!? Yeah!

Donna: I apologize for this late comment.
I'm glad you went with the Alpaca for this card, she is super cute. Love all the DSP you used to create your rainbow, especially the background paper.
Fabulous sentiment, awesome card, teammate.
