Shopping Our Stash #415 - Is It Summer Yet?

Greetings and salutations crafty pals!!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out the latest challenge from the crew at SHOPPING OUR STASH!

Are you over being in the throes of winter?? Then we have just the challenge for you!

Our theme is "Is It Summer Yet?"

That means we want to see something summer related or bright colours or something that will make us feel all lovely and warm like we are soaking up the rays of the sun!

What could be more summery than a big ole flamingo and some pineapple??

Not sure I would use bakers twine for stitching again, it was a bit bulky to work with and I was worried it was going to tear the paper...but it didn't...phew!

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Recollections)
  • Let's Travel design paper and chipboard elements (Carta Bella)
  • Yellow / white bakers twine (The Twinery)
  • Paper piercer and mat (SU)
  • Foam tape (Dollar Tree)
As always, we would love for you to join our crew and play along!

You can find all the details for the challenge on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG.

While you are there, please share some craft love & comments with the rest of the crew.

Such a fun card! Always love a 'famingo' as the kids at school often call theme! Jo x

Fabulous card, the stitching frames the flamingo fabulously, not sure I would have attempted bakers twine. I can't even remember to stitch on mine and the sewing machine is on the table.

Love the cotton candy flamingo and the beautiful pattern papers, your stitching just compliments the tropical feel on this sweet card.
Beautifully done.

I do like the texture the twine adds, but I can imagine how much fun it would be to work with. :D This card definitely says SUMMER.
