SoSS #7 - Y is for Your Mama

Happy Happy Saturday!! Can you believe it's the first weekend of May already?? Hopefully some warm spring weather isn't too far behind!!

The Sisterhood is back this week with a Mother's Day challenge...that's right, Y is for Your Mama. Show us what Mother's Day, your mom or being a mom means to you. Visit the Snarky Stampers Blog for all the details on the challenge and to see what the design team have created this time round!

By the way don't you just LOVE the graphic that LEE made for this challenge, in the bathtub in her Doc Marten boots with a glass of wine, that's MY kind of mama!

One of the things I have always loved about my mum (that's right mum with a U) is that she always encouraged my brother and I to be who we were, who we wanted to be...I was the teenager with the multi coloured hair, too many earrings, always wearing black, too much makeup, probably had a tattoo and forever in my Docs. Not much really ever phased my mum, so my card this week is an ode to her...love you mucho my momma!!

Not sure if you can read the sentiment in the picture, it says "be who you will be my beautiful girl"

LOVE your card, Donna! Your Mum is gonna LOVE it!! And THANK YOU for your sweet & thoughtful message you left on my SOSS GDTM post :) I had some tears this morning, after reading your message...I really do hope she is looking down upon us and smiling at what we're achieving! It takes a Sisterhood of Snark to get through sometimes!! XOXO-Shari

i'm glad that you are enjoying the challenge badges, Donna. I am just dangerous enough with Photoshop to create some franken-images. The way you describe your teenage years, I'm sure we would have been coloring our hair together. Your card is perfect!

What do you mean PROBABLY had a tattoo? lol! You've got to love a mum who supports her kids no matter what! I love this fab inky background, that sentiment, and that amazing fun stamp!!

Lucky you to have a Mom like that and what a fabulous card, Donna. Sure wish you could have come scared my Mom into thinking HER Donna was the perfect daughter. LOL! Love what you do with those stamps. I own them but am a bit timid about using them. This ROCKS! xxD

Such an awesome Mother's Day card, Donna! And boots, just like Lee's graphic, only in fashionable blue! Now we need photo evidence of your teenage days, though. ;)
