Shopping Our Stash Challenge 132 - Use the last of something

Have I mentioned how freakin' excited I am to be one of the new DT members at SHOPPING OUR STASH

I am pretty sure I have enough stash to start my own craft store...so I am super excited to start actually using some of the things I have been collecting (hoarding).

This week's challenge is to use the last of something (embellishment, piece of paper, etc.). Makes sense since it's the end of the year right???

I used a LOT of the last of somethings on this card, including:
  • My last clear button
  • The last piece of textured black cardstock
  • The end of my glittery gold scalloped border
  • The last of a roll of double sided tape (note to self add to shopping list!)
  • Pieces from the last strip of the gold blingy stuff that I "borrowed" from my cousin's wedding last year (shhhhhhhhhhh)

Come join the fun and play along with us at Shopping Our Stash for this week's challenge!!

Exciting news!!!

OK it's probably more exciting for me than it is for you...guess who's one of the new members of the SHOPPING OUR STASH design team??

Yep, you guessed it....ME!!! What's super exciting about this news is that my crafty friend JESSI is also on the design team and the other two new members of the team are BARB and CHRIS how exciting is that???!!!

Here's a link to the latest Shopping Our Stash challenge and the design team announcement.

Altered Frame

Grandma Mo's birthday was in early December. I made her this altered frame for Joel's school picture as part of her gift. Amazing what you can do with a $1.50 frame from Michael's, some design paper and a few embellishments. The frame was a hit! I think I will be making a few more of these for Christmas gifts!

I cut the letters and numbers with my cuttlebug and the embellishments around the frame are from a SCRAPTURES card kit.
