Tangerine Tango

I made a few more cards tonight when I got home based on one of the make and take cards we made with ML tonight.

DH needed a birthday card for a co-worker and I wanted a bright and cheery card to give my Nanny who is in hospital.

I really love the 'brightness' of this new Stampin' Up! 'In Colour' & this is one of the new stamp sets in this year's catalogue called "Upsy Daisy."

More Christmas card samples!!

Trying to get a "whack" of Christmas card samples made this week. Here are two more, these ones are meant to be less cutesy than the last ones and in more neutral colours (recognizing that not everyone loves red as much as I do :)

Make and Takes with ML

Attended an Open House with my SU upline tonight. Here are the cute make and take cards we made with some new Stampin' Up! stamp sets:

Three more Christmas card samples...

Was checking out some cards on SCS using the new "Deer Friends" hostess set.

Here's a couple of CASE's that I might use in my Christmas Stamp A Stack, unfortunately the scan didn't work so well ~ have some super duper pop ups from Michael's on these...

It's the most wonderful time of the year....

No, not back to school (you watch too much TV!!!), I mean Christmas!!!

OK so it's still a few months away, but it's never too soon to get a jump start on Christmas cards!! I am working on desiging some for my Christmas Stamp A Stack class ~ always lots of fun!! This one was inspired by one of the card front swaps I received at the Mega Meeting this past weekend (by Wendy Fee), here is my version:

This one is doing double duty as I am also using this design (with the sentiment embossed in silver) for my Stampin Canada Christmas Swap hosted by Crop_Junkie.

Lovin the new SU in colours!!

Have I told you how much I love love love the new Stampin' Up! in colours?? They are soooo bright!! My two faves so far are Pacific Point (blue) and Tangerine Tango (orange). You can see both in this card that I made with my upline recently...and I got to use Crystal Effects for the first time (very cool!).

My first Stampin' Up! Mega Meeting

And WOW, what a MEGA meeting it was! I think there were about 80 women all together. We swapped cards, learned lots of new techniques (marbles are my new fave!!) and did some great make and takes featuring some of the new SU sets.

Some familiar faces, lots of new friends, what a great way to spend the day!!

Here are some pics of the make and take cards we made:

Variations on a theme....

Yes, I really like the new SU sock monkey set!!

I am going to my first mega meeting this weekend (too exciting!!) ~ here is the card front I am making for the card swap - 6 made 44 more to go!!

It's been a few weeks...

Since my last blog post - I am still here, busy making cards :)

Condolences to Dave V and family who lost a loved one this week, here's the sympathy card I made for our co-workers to sign.

Another co-worker, we'll call her SG, has a birthday this week ~ here's the card I made for her.
