Shoppin Our Stash #206 - Out On A Limb

Happy Tuesday crafty friends!!! Time for a new SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge!

This week the SOS crew are going "Out on a Limb" and we'd like you to join us!!

That's right, this week we'd like to see trees, branches, leaves...whatever you associate with "Out on a Limb."

With Father's Day next weekend, I am trying to make a few masculine cards, with that in mind, here's what I made for the challenge this week:

Shite I used to make this card:
  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Lovely as a Tree stamp set (SU)
  • Dad Rocks stamp set (Technique Tuesday)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Smoky Slate ink (SU)
  • Black and white twine (The Twinery)
  • Paper piercer (SU)
Visit the SOS BLOG for all the details on the challenge and while you are there be sure to show my teammates some crafty lovin!!

We'd love for you to join us, play along won't you??

Love those SU trees - may the set never retire. I also really like how you've done the twine.

Beautiful and elegant! Love those trees, and the way you pierced the twine around Dad is absolutely brilliant!

So well crafted! I am horrible at masking and am always impressed when I see how well others execute this technique. Beautiful, elegant and perfectly composed and executed!

Oooooo! This is so magical! It makes a great father's day card and I just bet this would make a good Christmas creation, too! LOVE

That twine treatment....must try that. Perfect dudeish embellishment. And that is my favourite tree stamp of all time :)
