Hangin with my gnomies
I love love love gnomes...if I had a garden I would have them all over the place. I think they are cute and adorable. As soon as I saw the "Gnome Sweet Gnome" and coordinating "Gnomenclature" stamp sets in the mini occasions brochure, I knew I had to have them.
Running joke in my family, every father's day I buy a gnome for my dad for his garden (no he does NOT love gnomes like I do), I think this year I am going to have to make him a gnome father's day card too :)
Speaking of gnomes...have you seen the movie Gnomeo and Juliet?? Soooooo funny!!!!
Here's my "hangin' with my gnomies" card....thanks for lookin!!
Heart Punch Shamrock
OK...so this isn't really Sale a Bration or Mini Occasion related, but I liked it and thought it would be quick and fun to make
To make the shamrock I punched 6 hearts from with the SU large heart punch, scored and folded them in 1/2. The stem of the shamrock is made from the branch of the SU bird punch. The sentiment is from the SU "Pinch Proof" stamp set. Thanks for lookin!!
Present Stack
We made this card recently at a Stamp a Pack hosted by Jenn Tinline and two other Su demonstrators. I thought it was so fun!
Here's my take on it...the ribbon and DP are sale a bration products
Thanks for lookin!!
Just my type...
Forever & Always card
Sad day for the Whiteman family :(
This morning my Nan passed away. She had been in hospital for just over a month. We were lucky enough to have most of the family together in Scotland in February to celebrate her 90th birthday. Today my love and thoughts go out to my family as we deal with this loss. In my heart I know Nan is with Grandad now and forever, and that thought makes me smile on a sad day.

Book Page ATCs
I joined a Book Page ATC swap on Swap-Bot, had so much fun making the ATC, I joined the Book Page ATC #2 swap :)
The requirement for these swaps...you had to use a page from a book somewhere on your ATC.
DH gave me an old thesaurus to use, which was perfect!
The ATC on the left was the first one I made, I cut the book page to 3.5 x 2.5 and mounted it to the ATC base. Then I covered it with crackle accents, but I think because I spread it with a toothbrush that it didn't crackle, but it still looks cool. The typewriter and sentiment are from the "Just my Type" stamp set from SU.
The ATC on the right, I used the book pages to make the flower, punched 8 scallops, inked them up and wrinkled them (the paper is so thin I didn't need to dampen them).

cupcake cards
Here are a few more cupcake cards I have made the last week or so. This first one was a challenge that Shannon posted on Scraptures...this one was a challenge for me, I have never made a card with so much empty space at the top, I kept wanting to add something there...but I like how it turned out. The DP is Love Letters paper pad from the Scraptures Feb card kit.
The second card is one I made for our girl cousin (+ Brian) get together last weekend.
Thanks for lookin!
