Valentine Layout

I am having so much fun as Scraptures Guest of the Month for February
For this week's project I made a Valentine layout using the card kit
You get so much great stuff in these kits (stamps, inks, card stock, design paper, embellishments).
Here's a link to the Scraptures blog if you'd like to see my layout (there are also pictures of the monthly scrapbook and card kits there too so you can see all the cool stuff you get)

More ATC love :)

Today is Family Day in Southern Ontario...I spent most of the morning this morning working on some cupcake ATCs for the Stampin Scrappin Roadtrippers group on Facebook. Wendy is kind enough to host a monthly ATC swap and this month 13 people are participating. The cupcake theme was my bright idea (cough cough) so it serves me right that these took so long to assemble, each little cirle and piece of the cupcake was punched separately.

Here's what I came up with, close up of one ATC:

And here's the group of 14 (yes I know it was supposed to be 13, apparently I can't count...or got carried away):

Thanks for lookin!!

Love Beyond Measure

Here is a layout I did this morning for a challenge on Scraptures.

Fingerprint Hearts Take 2

Here's the second fingerprint heart card...I like this one better...closer to the original

Thanks for lookin'

Non book eating bookmark

Here's another "Finally Friday" challenge from Scraptures.
My mum was complaining on our trip that the bookmark she was using was tearing the edges of her book (its made from wood so I am kinda not surprised!!).

Being super frugal with paper, I didn't follow the original instructions, instead I started with a 5 x 2.5" piece of cardstock, scored in 1/2. Cut half off one of the ends, sealed it shut, added the DP (which was a 2.25" piece cut in 1/2) then added the circles and the "MUM" punched with my new Martha Stewart alphabet punch.

Christa had also made some cute ones that look like monsters with teeth...think I will try those next.

Thanks for lookin'

Fingerprint hearts

Christa on Scraptures posted a cool card that another forum member had shown them...using your fingerprints to make hearts.

Granted the process took a bit of trial and error and was a bit messy, but how cool to give someone you love such a personal card?

Here's my take on the card, I stitched the bakers twine around the edges, the original card had it wrapped around which I like better...so I will probably make another one later closer to the original.

Thanks for looking!
