My first digital project...

Well I finally got around to trying out My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!

My friend Drew is getting married this year and asked me to make some sample save the date and wedding invites for him.

I came up with this digital save the date card in Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla.

The brads at the bottom are supposed to look like Mickey Mouse.

I am thinking it still needs a little something...but what???

Cup Cake scarf!

OK this is about the cutest thing I have EVER seen!!! A cupcake scarf!

Really, if you haven't signed up for swap-bot yet, you really need to!!
You meet the coolest people how make the coolest things!!

So I had to use as many chances to win it as I could....
1. I followed Maggi's blog
2. Posted a link here on my blog to tell y'all about it
3. Left a comment for Maggi to tell her that I would love love love to win this
4. I have no idea about Twitter, so I had to pass on that one (lol)

So ya, you are welcome to enter too, but here's the dealio...if you win it, and I know you....please let me wear it just once :)

Here's the link to enter for yourself:

Sale a Bration and Occasions Mini Sneak Peek

Niblet and I are getting ready for a Sale a Bration and Occasions Mini Sneak Peek card making extravaganza this week (on Thursday).

Here's an early sneak peek of one of the cards we'll be making.

The hearts and LOVE are embossed with clear embossing powder, then sponged over with crumb cake and cherry cobbler ink (cardstock is also crumb cake and cherry cobbler).

Kiss my....

Well you get the idea...

I'm participating in an "edgy card" swap over on Stampin Canada

This one was Wenchie's idea, something a little out of the ordinary...

So here's what I have come up with....now just have to think of a sentiment for the inside....any suggestions????

January 1 - 1 swap on SC

The lovely butterfingers (the "other Donna") continues to host monthly 1 - 1 swaps for us over on Stampin Canada.

The theme for January is winter / snow / ice...here's the card I made for my swap partner...sweet treat cup shaker snowman - his belly is full of snow and snowflakes.

I love cards made mostly with punches...the possibilities are endless!

Shoe Box swap...

Tonight I am attending a shoe box swap with my lovely SU upline (ML) and a few other local demos - about 10 of us in total I think.

Here's my card for the swap, all in all I am pretty happy with how it came out...using the new glitter paper, a new stamp set and DP and the uber cool owl punch that Niblet gave me for Christmas.

I took this picture with my new blackberry - so much better than my old one!!
