Shopping Our Stash #302 - Buttons

Greetings friends! Thanks for stopping by today to check out the newest challenge from the SHOPPING OUR STASH crew!

This week we are all about the buttons!!

We all have one or two buttons (or 5 mason jars full) in our stash right??

I was very blessed to receive a random act of kindness package from my SOS teammie Mimi

The package included some very cool papers and a pack of old library cards!!

I love that the library card that I used on this card dates back to 1982!

I would have been 11 years old in elementary school land probably signing out books just like this! Super awesome!

And in case you thought I was kidding about the 5 mason jars full of buttons thing, I was lame enough to take them out to the garden for a photo op!

And you know, with that many buttons, I could still only use ONE on my card lol

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Design paper, library card & colourful thread ribbon (gift from Mimi)
  • Sentiment sticker (Tim Holtz)
  • Needle, thread, stapler and button (from my stash)
As always, we would love for you to play along. You can find all the details on the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG

While you are there please share some crafty loves with the rest of the crew and our guest designer

I love that you used all that stuff... glad I didn't send buttons! (I have one big jar... had to laugh at your photo op!) Yeah, looking at old library cards never gets old...

I love books as much as I love making cards so I was excited to see these two things together on your card! And don't even get me started on buttons! Very pretty work, thanks for sharing!

I really should have kept more used library cards when I automated my library... sigh. This card is so very very cool! Even with a button on it! (I have a thing about buttons, lol...)
