Shopping Our Stash #237 - Dreaming of Something Warm

Hello again crafty pals!

Thanks for stopping by today to check out the new SHOPPING OUR STASH challenge.

This week the SOS CREW are Dreaming of Something Warm and we hope you are too!

I live in a small town where there is no Starbucks ***gasp*** can you believe that??? I frequently dream of chai lattes...ya...I make them at home, but it's just NOT the same lol

I must admit I am kinda smitten with my card, that doesn't happen very often! I used a stamp set that's been in my stash for way too long without being inked up AND I tried something new (using a pencil eraser to make my little dots around the latte) AND I am super impressed how well the ink ended up matching the design paper I picked...YAY me!!

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Fresh Brewed Blueprint stamp set (Tim Holtz)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Fired Brick distress ink (Tim Holtz)
  • Design paper (SU)
  • Pencil eraser
Please visit the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG to check out what' keeping the rest of the crew warm this week and as always we would love for you to play along with us!

Ditto what Barb said! This card is amazing, and I LOVE that you used a pencil eraser for the dots!

Yep, certainly worth being smitten over! I'm really bad about using my blueprints stamps too, even though they're so cool. Awesome card!

I really like how you card turned out too, and I've often wondered what I'd do with a blueprint stamp! You've put it to great use here, and I love the (GASP) red cup! LOL

we have multiple starbucks, and i honestly never notice them unless i'm with someone who says, "let's get starbucks" lol! (we have multiple indian restaurants, too, where i'm pretty sure the chai is even better plus... chana masala! :) :) :)) meanwhile this is a PERFECT card for the "warm" theme, for valentine's day, or heck just for ANYTHING at all! ♥
