Shopping Our Stash #232 - My Precious

Happy Tuesday crafty peeps!

Thanks for coming by to check out the SHOPPING OUR STASH "My Precious" challenge.

Check out the SHOPPING OUR STASH BLOG for all the details on the challenge and while you are there show the rest of the crew some lovin' won't you??

This is week two of a two week challenge, so we'll be back at ya on Tuesday January 5th with a new challenge.

In the meantime we'd love to know what is that special crafting supply you have hung on to tighter than Gollum with his ring.

I "collect" a lot of craft supplies, some things are just too awesome to use, like the Vintedge collection by Rock-It Ruby.

True enough I got the collection at a yard sale for a whopping 3 bucks, but that just makes me think I will NEVER be able to find it again so I better save it!

For this card I cut into FOUR different pieces of the design paper and used one of the chipboard accent thingies...a bird wearing a crown sitting on a clock...I dunno...it just works.

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Vintedge design paper and chipboard (Ruby Rock-It)
  • Frayed Burlap distress ink (Tim Holtz)
  • Mini ink blending tool (Tim Holtz)

love, love, love this!!! ♥♥♥ and WELL DONE-- bonus points for cutting into *4* different sheets!!! (how long did it take the hives to subside, lol?!) (i can SOOOOO relate, BUT... i am of the opinion that the supernatural entities in charge of rummage sale karma reward the *USAGE* of sacred objects found at garage sales by allowing you to find more cool stuff at a later date; not necessarily the SAME stuff... but cool things you wouldn't have found... just sayin'...)

Ah, my girl, you nailed this! Love the papers! I have some Ken Oliver that looks a little like this, and I refuse to cut it! Great job, Barbara.
