Sentiments and Metal

I am trying to make cards to enter more challenges, challenges other than the design teams I am on.
I had a few challenges in mind when I started this card and before I knew it, it came together quite nicely and I JUST got the picture taken as the sun was setting!




SUPPLIES:
Kraft cardstock (Joanns)
Retired design paper (SU)
Burlap ribbon (SU)
Metal cog wheels (Tim Holtz)
Mini stapler and staples (Michaels)
Black Soot distress ink (Tim Holtz)
Can Do sentiment stamp (Technique Tuesday)

The perfect card to put that show-stopping sentiment on. I love how your background geometric paper is echoed in your gears (or is that vise versa?). Your staples are really cool, and if I hadn't read your text, I would think they were stitches. And thank you for taking the time to leave a comment on my blog. It can be a much bigger project commenting than what is spent creating art.
