Shopping Our Stash #139 - Embellish Me

This week's challenge at SHOPPING OUR STASH is Embellish Me.

For this challenge we want you to make your own embellishment! How fun!!! Be sure to visit the blog for all the details on the challenge and to see the awesome embellishments my teammies created (and show them some craft love!!).

I made a flower embellishment from 8 punched scallops. I wet and crinkled each one, sprayed with glitter spritz then heat dried. And I didn't even set any of them on fire!! Although by the smell I think I came close.

I'm sure glad I bought so much of that border bling cuz it's like Frank's hot sauce, I am using that shite on EVERYTHING!!

SUPPLIES:
Kraft & pink cardstock (Recollections)
Early Espresso cardstock & ink (SU)

Scallop punch (SU)
Very Vintage wheel (SU)
Corduroy button (SU)
Paper piercer & mat (SU)
Border bling (Michaels)
Glitter spritz (SU)

  5. I might have snorted when I read this. "No fires" was one of my rules when I hosted classes in my living room. Also, the Frank's Hot Sauce. {snort} At least you're USING the bling. I usually stick mine in a drawer.

  6. Hey Donna, just wanted to pop on over and say thank you for the lovely comment you left on my SOS entry, so glad you liked what I created.
I love your flower. I must try making a flower with a scallop circle punch soon, thank you for the inspiration xx

  7. Love that flower -- and almost teabag colour, in the best way! (As in, hasn't sat on the counter overnight kinda thing...) Perfect paired with the pink and the bling.
