Drunken Stampers Challenge #142 - Place - London

This week the Tropical Hooters are up with a Place challenge...and the place....LONDON!!

Be sure to visit the DRUNKEN STAMPERS BLOG for all the details on this challenge and to show the Tropical Hooters some crafty love!!

I couldn't resist this challenge, I have THE perfect set of stamps (2 actually) and embossing folders. My Tim Holtz "London Sights" stamp set and London Icons & Union Jack set embossing folders practically begged me to get inky!! Through in the Carry On set from SU and Bob's Your Uncle!! So grab a cuppa...we're off to jolly old London!

Here's the first card I made for the challenge...I heat embossed directly on the sanded core-dinations cardstock.

SUPPLIES:
Pacific Point and Whisper White cardstock (SU)
Red Core-dinations cardstock (Tim Holtz)
Union Jack embossing folder (Tim Holtz)
London Sights stamp set (Tim Holtz)
Versamark ink
Black embossing powder

And here's the second card I made for the challenge (I like this one better so saved it for last):

SUPPLIES:
Midnight Muse and Whisper White cardstock (SU)
Red Core-dinations cardstock (Tim Holtz)
London Icons embossing folder (Tim Holtz)
London Sights stamp set (Tim Holtz)
Carry On stamp set (SU)
Barn Door & Faded Jeans distress markers (Tim Holtz)

Want to get in on the fun?? Link your project to the DRUNKEN STAMPERS BLOG by 11:59 pm PST and YOU could be our next Life of the Party!!

I love the embossing on the sanded card stock! I'll have to try that. Both your cards are fantastic! I think I might have to get the British embossing folders!
