I decided to make a twisted easel card and using the design paper that came with the kit...I didn't even have to do any stamping, both the image and the sentiment were cut from the Journalling Cards design paper!
I was also really excited to use the core-dinations cardstock, it comes pre-embossed and you can sand it, tear it...we all know how I love to distress paper, so of course I sanded it for my card.
To make the twisted easel card, I started with a piece of Early Espresso cardstock (11" x 5.5"), scored it in half, and then scored one of the halves diagonally from the centre to the edge.
We got our fist significant snow in Southern Ontario this past week, so I thought it would be fun to take the pictures outside...brrrrr...not sure that was a good idea, don't think you can even see the snow in the background!
Here is the card closed:
And here's what it looks like open:
What's in it:
Surprisingly, I only used three pieces of paper to make this card, and didn't do any stamping, but as simple as it was, I am really happy with how it came out!
Cardstock - Scarlet (core-dinations) & Early Espresso (Stampin Up)
Design paper - Echo Park - Very Merry Christmas - Journalling Cards
Thanks for lookin!!
