I don't watch a lot of the olympics, I admit...I do watch the hockey...I love hockey, what can I say?? I am Canadian!!
Way to go Team Canada for taking the gold (men's and women's hockey).
One of my friends on Stampin Canada (Barb) posted this hockey prayer...I loved it, so I thought I would share it with y'all...
Our father, who art in Vancouver, hockey be thy name. Thy will be done, the gold be won, for the women, as well as the men. Give us this day, a U.S.A. loss, and forgive us our penalties as we forgive those who cross check against us. Lead us not into elimination, but deliver us to victory. In the name of Gretzky, ...Le......mieux, and Gordie Howe. Amen
Here's my very own Team Canada jersey, lucky #13...Molson Canadian has an application on Facebook where you can create your jersey with your own name and number on it :)
Birthday greetings...
Birthday greetings from me :) Yep today is my birthday! Also did a birthday card class this week, here are three of the cards we made:
For the boys:
For the boys:
For the girls:
Hard to tell from the picture, but the cake is mounted on the inside of the card and there is a whole punched through the CS and DP.
And just because I really like these colours:
Multi Colour Valentine
I loved the "non traditional" colour combination on this card from Dany's INKcredible creations. Here's the link:
As some of my male co-workers are coming to the lunchtime class on Thursday to make Valentine cards (YAY guys!!), I thought it would be appropriate to have something a little less pink...here's my version...
Paper Piece Birdies
Yep - another card with birds on it - what's that now, 3 in a week - Jen will be so proud of me :)I am really liking using paper pieces in place of colouring - I could never have made such nice stripey birdies if I had coloured these myself.
And I think it will be a great way to use up scraps of DP!
This is the first of three valentine projects I am going to do in a lunchtime class at work this week.
To bling or not to bling???
YAY!!! I finally (FINALLY) made a card with my bombshell stamps!!
They have the coolest pinup stamps - I absolutely love them - and it's easy to fulfill my need for all things skulls with their stamps too! Check out the sugar skull stamp set - oh how I love it :)
Here's a link to their website so you can check out their uber cool stamps!!

I got some copic markers when I was in Winnipeg over the labour day weekend last year and I love love love colouring with them...now I need MORE!!!
So here's two versions of this card...do you like it better with the bling or without the bling??
Version one - sans bling:
Version two - avec bling:

Stamp a Stack cards
This past weekend (Feb 6) I attended a Stamp a Stack with some of my Stampin Canada friends at my SU upline's house.
Touch of Colour
Sending Sweet Thoughts

Here is another card we'll be making in tomorrow's Valentine class, I wanted to do this card with the new scallop edge and corner punches, but my corner punch didn't arrive on time (grrrrrrrr).
I like this stamp set, and have sooooo much of this years "in colours" cardstock still that I used melon mambo and razzleberry for the layering as well.
Birds for B

You may or may not know that I have an "anti-bird" kinda thing going on.
I don't like birds in real life, and I don't like birds on cards...
Jen's bird Pearl scares the bejeezus out of me, although I am sure she is a lovely bird...
Anyway...someone suggested I make a card with birds on it for this week's class (last time I ask THAT person for suggestions!!) and after I finished rolling my eyes and hmmmm-ing and haaaaaa-ing, this is what I came up with as the fourth card for tomorrow's class.
