Chalkboard technique - cool!!
Another of my Stampin Canada buddies (Ter, queen of techniques) posted a chalkboard technique recently...stamp in white ink on black cardstock and colour in with chalks. I love the look of this one! Yes, Essence of Love is still one of my fave stamp sets, disappointed it didn't make it into the new SU catalogue :( Nonetheless, here is my first attempt at a chalkboard card:
New CB folders!!
Hoooray for new cuttlebug folders!! There are soooo many that I would like to get.
So...on a stampin excursion to Stampalicious (see links) this weekend with some of my Stampin Canada buddies I bought a few more, what did I buy you ask???
Let's see, the argyle folder, a Christmas ornament folder, a distressed lines folder and five borders! Woo Woo, will post some samples as I use them all :)
On another happy note, the Simpson family will be welcoming a new baby in December!! A baby sister (we think) for Peyton and Brydon! Here's a congrats card I made for the Simpson family using the argyle folder:

I must admit it, I am one of "those" people who just love the new sock monkey set from Stampin Up! I have been scouring SCS looking for samples and ideas, love it love it love it.
Here's my first sample, the scan was not so good, this is on close to cocoa cardstock...
