SoSS #108 - X is for Xyloid

Greetings snarky pals!

Thanks for stoppiong by today to check out the latest challenge from Edna and the sisterhood of snarky stampers....X is For Xyloid

Let's be honest, I don't think I had ever heard the word xyloid before this challenge.

Turns out it means this:

resembling wood : having the qualities or nature of wood : woody, ligneous

Turns out I don't know what ligneous means either...but let's just move on.

I knew exactly what I wanted to make for this challenge...and then discovered that I don't own a sheep stamp...really?????

UGH

So I drew one.

OK I drew several "things" until I got one that I thought kind of looked like a sheep.

If you don't play Settlers of Catan as much as I do, you probably won't find this as funny as I do.

Sometimes I amuse myself...that's all that counts right??

Shite I used to make this card:

  • White cardstock (Fireworx)
  • Black cardstock (Recollections)
  • Alphabet stamp set (Studio G)
  • Tuxedo Black ink (Memento)
  • Sharpie
  • Woodland embossing folder (SU)
  • Fishtail / Banner die set (Your Next Stamp)
  • Googly eyes
As always, we would love for you to join the sisterhood and play along.

You can find all the details on the SoSS BLOG

While you are there, please be sure to share some crafty loves and comments with our reigning queen and the rest of the sisterhood!!

You drew that sheep? It totally needs to be made into a stamp because I want to buy it. And a matching cow too please. Possibly a llama.
I don't play whatever it is, so to me the sentiment looks vaguely filthy - perhaps there's a horny ram tiptoeing through the trees.

That is one awesome sheep!!!! I am a bit surprised you don't have a Paper Smooches one. But you don't need one now, I love your version! And while we all understand xyloid now, I may get my nephew to fully explain your card to me, lol!
