SoSS #83 - Y is for YIPEE!!

I made a congratulations card cause you always need more of those in your stash right?

I still had the Life in Colour design paper out on my desk (mostly because I am a total delinquent when it comes to cleaning my craft room) and I am love love loving the pretty flower patterns, so I used it again on this card (saves putting it away right??)

Shopping Our Stash #299 - A Rose By Any Other Name

I was stumped at first, I don't think I have a single rose stamp.
Then I remembered that my crewmate Chris sometime ago gifted me these really pretty pink fabric roses. So I started there and here's what I came up with:

SoSS #82 - E is for Elegant


WOW!! Our Edna looks like she's ready for an elegant night on the town doesn't she??

Elegant is the name of the game this time around with the SISTERHOOD OF SNARKY STAMPERS

Here's what I made for the challenge:


The picture in the centre of the canvas is my Grandad and Nan Whiteman in 1951. I recently "acquired" this picture from my aunt (thank you facebook!!)

Shopping Our Stash #298 - Momma Said Knock You Out

OK, maybe not exactly...but kinda??

The actual theme is to use punches and dies on your project.

But you know, crafters are silly and when someone said that punches and dies sounded like a boxing themed challenge - soon enough it became Momma Said Knock You Out

Here's what I made for the challenge (while humming LL Cool James) using 6 punches and three dies:

SoSS #81 - S is for Silly


Oh that Edna! She's been paryting too hardy again it seems!

As a result, she has dictated that we all join her in silliness with the newest SoSS challenge...S is for Silly

Here's what I made for the challenge:


This card builds on the best piece of advice I ever received from my old pot & pan...you don't have to be the fastest, you just don't want to be the slowest.

Granted, he was talking about outrunning a bear, but I think it's still applicable :)
